The Comox Bay Sailing Association, Est. 1965 is pleased to present

the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Awards Night Banquet.

Join us as we come together to celebrate our incredible season, recognize outstanding achievements, and look ahead to another great year of sailing!


Schedule:

  • 16:00 -  Doors open
  • 16:30 - AGM: We’ll start the evening with the mandatory business of the AGM, where we’ll review the year’s highlights,  exciting updates on our coming dock, and then voting in the new board.  Your participation is key as we continue to shape the future of our club!

  • 17:15 - Potluck: After the AGM, we’ll dig into a potluck feast! Please sign up for a dish to share (appetizer, main course, salad, or dessert). A cash bar will be available, so you can enjoy your favorite beverages throughout the evening. 

  • 18:00 - Awards Ceremony: To cap off the night, we’ll celebrate the sailors who made waves this season! Don’t miss the chance to cheer on your fellow club members as we hand out awards for standout performances and contributions.

  • 20:00 - Sailboat Racing and Trivia: We will cap the night off with dessert and sailing trivia and the always popular build and blow your boat competition

Potluck Details

We have 85 people expected to attend and in the interests of being efficient we have split up the Potluck dishes accordingly.

Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or new to the club, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the Comox Bay sailing community, share stories, and have some fun!
